TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By purchasing any of our services, you confirm you have reviewed and agreed to the Consent, Cancellation and Privacy Policies. Please review the terms below carefully before booking any service, as they affect your legal rights and obligations. These terms and any additional terms and conditions contained in this website apply to you prospectively: It is recommended you check them every time you use this site and/or services.
All content, including audio, video, text, graphics, images, and information available on or through JM Energy (hereinafter โJMEโ) is for general informational purposes only. The information and/or Services provided by JME do not constitute to claims nor responsibility to any person or entity for any liability, loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly as a result of the use, application or interpretation of the material on the JME Website or Services provided.
JME reserves the right to refuse to offer or stop to offer any of the services for any reason.
PAYMENTS
Payments for all services are required in part and/or full within/by the date provided to you within the job offer acceptance and agreement, this will be provided either in physical paper copy or via email, whichever your choosing. Unless agreed otherwise, we will arrange and set up an appropriate payment plan, which you are welcome to call and discuss. We may provide paid products and/or services within another service. In that case, we will be required to get authorisation. We use a third-party service provider for payment processing (e.g. payment processor) and can also accept other payment methods, please read ourย paymentย information page for further details. We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to the third-party payment processor whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Offline payments will be via BACS, Cash and/or Stripe.
AMENDMENTS
Should the work be due or already in process, and you decide to add any further work/jobs and/or products/equipment, please do not assume these will be included in your existing quote and/or job completion time frame, should you have any new requirements, please feel free to discuss this with us and we will be happy to, within reason, obtain an amended quote and time frame, discuss this with you, and upon agreement we shall create a revised quote, payment date(s) and agreement for the work to be carried out.
If for any reason, you decide that you want to cancel part of an agreed job, again please speak to us and depending on the agreement, we may be able to offer you revised terms, however, please be aware of the following; 1. Deposits are non-refundable, 2. Should any equipment/products already be purchased on your behalf, these can not be refunded, unless agreed otherwise (for example: we may offer a partial refund in return of keeping the supplied products), 3. Any workmanship hours for said work shall not be refunded nor can it be transferred to any future work. Therefore we ask that you are satisfied with any proposals and/or agreements within the job quote/description signed by all parties prior to work being carried out, though this section sounds serious, please be assured we are here to help. Please also be advised, that should you remove any services from the agreed contract, you may incur charges.
CANCELLATIONS
Notice of cancellation of part and/or full workmanship/jobs is required within the time frame provided to you prior to the start date, after the agreed cooling off period, no refunds can be provided, unless agreed otherwise. You may, in some circumstances add and/or remove any pat of the work, this may incur additional charges or reschedule the agreed working dates. My services are provided on a non-refundable and non-transferable basis. If you need to reschedule, please contact us.
Should you decide to cancel for no reasonable and/or agreed purpose, we have the right to reclaim any products/services already provided, no refunds shall be provided, charge you the remaining sum(s) for any received product/service/workmanship and/or charge at ‘get out’ fee for breakage of contract
CONTRACT AGREEMENT
Once you have had your initial assessment and received your personalised quote, upon acceptance you hereby agree to the terms and conditions provided here, should you require these in physical format you can request for them in paper format or via email, alternatively you can download your own copy using the button link at the bottom of this page.
All terms and conditions are valid and live once an agreement by all parties has been accepted.
For any amendments, once agreed, a revised version of the terms and conditions will be made and clearly communicated with you, these conditions will not be available on the website and will be provided via email.
The terms and conditions here on our website are applicable to every job/party, any further conditions will be provided to you personally due to the fact that every job is different, you will receive your own personal terms and condition which form an extension to these here on our website.
All signed contracts are legally binding.
NON PAYMENT
Should you be having issues with payments, please don’t avoid the issue, contact us and we will be happy to see if we can help, we may be able to offer different payment terms.
As per the terms and conditions below regarding ownership, should you avoid and/or withhold any payments due to JME, we reserve the right to take any of the following action (not limited to); 1. Reclaim all/part of any installed products/services from you, no refunds shall be provided, 2. Attempt to charge your payment method at a later date, 3. Pass your information and debt to a third party debt collection agency and/or 4. Start legal/court proceeding against you.
OWNERSHIP & RESPONSIBILITY
All equipment, tools, materials, products and services are under the ownership of JME until full payment(s) have been made, thereafter the ownership will be transferred to the buyer. You hereby agree that you, the buyer/client do not own any products/work until the final/complete payment(s) have been made to JME in full.
Any equipment and/or products/items/tools that have been left in your possession due to already being installed or partly installed and any items left on your premises for the purposes of job work/completion, is not your property and is owned by JME, you may not in any circumstances, use, borrow, move, relocate, take, destroy any of these, an agreement with JME and you will be made should anything need to be left at your property, once this agreement has been accepted by all parties, you will become liable for any breakages, loss and/or theft of any/all of the property in your care.

Through the JME Website, you may be able to link to other websites which are not under my control. I have no control over the nature, content and availability of these sites. Any links do not automatically imply a recommendation, nor does it endorse the views expressed within them. External websites, unless otherwise stated, are not part of JME, we are unable to help and/or advise on anything elsewhere. We do not take any responsibility for any statements, services or malicious activity that may result in you navigation away from the JME website to any external site.

We reserve the right to change/amend/modify/add/delete any terms and conditions without any prior notice or consent, this does not apply to any agreed/signed terms and conditions, any terms and conditions for your agreed work shall only be made with consent from all parties, except where legally required under UK Law.
Any changes in the terms and conditions by any manufacturer of products purchased from JME are beyond our control, we advise that you take a look at the manufacturer(s) respective websites for their terms and conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR COMPLIANCE
JME will not disclose your personal information to any other party. Everything discussed during a session, whether it be written or verbal is strictly confidential at all times. Your personal information is never sold, traded or given away. Our company e-mail address isย james@jm-e.co.ukย Your email address is stored on the account and is only accessible by JME. We delete all electronic messages from all devices within 24 months after our conversation ends. Square hold your name, email address and mobile number in line with their own booking/card processing systems. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or computer system while using Square Bookings or while in contact with us electronically. As a way to track your progress, We record notes at each stage. These notes include any required personal details, payments made and/or due and job information. These notes are stored in an electronic filing system that is password protected and accessed only by JME. Occasionally we may do a follow up with yourself, to ensure everything is running smoothly. Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to say what happens to the data that I keep.
